Reporting Guidelines
To ensure clarity, reproducibility, and scientific rigor, Epidemiology & Health Data Insights requires authors to adhere to internationally recognized reporting guidelines appropriate to their study design. The EQUATOR Network (Enhancing the Quality and Transparency of Health Research) offers a comprehensive set of tools and checklists that support best practices in health research reporting.
Authors are expected to consult and submit the relevant reporting checklist(s) along with their manuscript:
• Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs): CONSORT
• Observational Studies (Cohort, Case-Control, Cross-Sectional): STROBE
• Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses: PRISMA
• Qualitative Research: COREQ
• Diagnostic Accuracy Studies: STARD
• Case Reports: CARE
We encourage all contributors to visit the EQUATOR Network website to access these resources. Proper use of these guidelines supports high-quality submissions and facilitates peer review and editorial evaluation.
